JazzMark Privacy Policy

JazzMark (“we”, “the app”) is operated by Uraz Kıvaner. This policy describes how the JazzMark mobile apps (iPhone, iPad, and Android) and the optional JazzMark desktop apps (Mac and Windows) handle information.

What JazzMark does

JazzMark helps musicians organize PDF sheet music, bookmarks, and playlists. Most of your library stays on your device. Optional cloud backup and Pro desktop access use the services described below.

JazzMark metadata testing page

This page is used for testing tempo/BPM metadata integration. Tempo/BPM data powered by GetSongBPM.com.

Information we collect

Account information (Pro / desktop access): If you use Sign in with Apple for JazzMark Pro, we receive a Firebase user identifier and, when Apple provides it, your email address. This links your purchase to desktop access.
Purchase and entitlement data: We store whether your account has Pro / desktop access, product identifier, and timestamps in Google Firebase Firestore (project: jazzmark-779da).
Download status: If you download a desktop installer (Mac or Windows), we record that each platform’s download link was opened once per account (soft limit in the app).
Microphone (optional): Used only in Listen mode for Google voice song search and ShazamKit song identification. Audio is processed for recognition; we do not store recordings for this feature.
Photos / files (optional): You may import sheet music images or PDFs from your photo library or files. Imports are processed on device unless you choose cloud backup.
Cloud backup (optional): If you enable Google Drive or iCloud backup on iPhone or iPad, backup files are stored in the account you choose. That provider’s privacy policy applies.

What we do not do

We do not sell your personal information.
We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
We do not require an account for basic JazzMark features; an account is required only for Pro / Mac Companion entitlement.

Data retention and deletion

To request deletion of your JazzMark account and associated entitlement data, email urazyjazzy@gmail.com. Local bookmarks and PDFs on your device are not deleted automatically when account data is removed from our servers.

Children

JazzMark is not directed at children under 13.
